Nun zu mir diesmal habe ich Dir allerhand neues zu berichten. Wir sind leider wieder einmal Umgezogen! Ich bin immer noch hinten beim Feldwebel! Wie immer kam der Befehl zum umziehen ganz Überraschend. Am 12.6. ging das Packen los, habe hier auch Bekleidung und Ausrüstung über dies habe ich mit einen Wagen ins neue Quartier geschickt dabei auch 25 Gebäcke [Gepäck ???] von Urlaubern. Gottseidank war das schon weg. Denn jetzt kommt eine ganz tolle Sache. Ich sitze mit einen Stabsfeldwebel eine Oberfeldw u. Feldwebel beim Mittagstisch, hatte mich gerade ausgezogen und war in der Badehose da kommt der kleine Russenjunge von unseren Haus ganz entsetzt hereingestürzt und schreit „Pan, Pan [Herr], Haus kaputt. Ich stürze mit den Feldwebels hinaus um zu sehen was los ist da sehe ich das unser Haus brennt! Nun sofort wieder zurück und die Kassa [Kasse (österr.)] ins Frei und nochmals hinein. Wie schnell so ein Russenhaus brennt macht man sich keine Vorstellung es ist doch alles Stroh und Holz. Als ich das zweitemal drinnen war stand schon alles in Flammen. Nun nahm ich was ich erreichen konnte, meine Tasche und etwas [Bekleidung aber dann nichts wie raus.]
