Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Wieder grüße ich Dich vom Herzen. Bin gestern von Smolensk hier in dieser Stadt eingetroffen, habe hier übernachtet nun wollen wir sehen wie es weiter geht. Es hatt sich vieles geändert wir müßen unsere Einheit erst suchen. Schreibe noch die alte Feldpostnummer, wenn Du Deine Post mit den Vermerk „neue Anschrift abwarten“ zurück bekommst, sei nicht beunruhigt ich schreibe Dir in diesen Fall sofort. Heute ist nun Sonntag wie schön war es noch vor einer Woche. Sitze nun hier im Soldatenheim und warte auf das Mittagessen, Nachmittag gehe ich villeicht ins Frontkino diese Nacht werde ich noch hier schlafen. Sonst geht es mir gut bin gesund und munter zu Essen habe ich auch noch genug. Habe eine Zeitung gesehen da steht das Dr. Heinrich Hoffer aus Graz gefallen ist war daß Anni ihr Mann? Was gibt es sonst noch neues daheim. Eines kann ich Dir sagen liebe Mama mit meinen Urlaub habe ich sehr großes Glück gehabt es hatt sich in der Zeit vieles ereignet!
