Im Felde, d. 28.IX.43.
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Habe Dir schon Heute einen kurzen Brief geschrieben habe nun etwas mehr Zeit da will ich Dir etwas ausführlich berichten. Erhielt auch Heute Deinen Brief und Karte vom 11.IX.43. sage Dir vielen Dank dafür. In Wien waren also noch keine Bomber na das beruhigt hoffentlich kommen sie auch später nicht! Kommt Kurtl mit seiner Verwundung in ein Heimatlazarett? Die Nachricht von Lubi u. Mundl hatt mich sehr getroffen. Wie viele von den alten Bekannten werden fehlen wenn mal alles vorbei ist. Hoffentlich wird es mit Karl besser u. er kommt in ein Heimatlazarett. Ja bei uns sagt man schon [der Weg in die Heimat geht übers Rote Kreuz.]
