[Wir brachten jeder eine Flasche Wein] mit. Von 19 - 22.00 h gingen wir ins Theater sahen die Operette „Veilchen aus Wien“ es war sehr schön. Nach der Vorstellung gingen wir in die Wohnung die Wirten hatte schon alles hergerichtet. Der Punsch dampfte das Gebäck stand am Tisch auch Bier war da. So rutschten wir ins neues Jahr es war sehr nett. Kamen in guter Stimmung, stadt um 24.00 h um 1.00 h ein dachten wir werden ausgeschimpft aber die im Lazarett waren selber blau. Ein Kamerad und ich blieben noch im Geschäftszimmer und tanzten bis um 3.00 h mit den Schwestern. Das war ein Spaß mit „Schlapfen“ [Pantoffel ???]. Um 4.00 h gingen wir ins Bett. Die ganzen Feiertage war ich aus. Sah im Theater die Verdi Oper „Aida“ und gestern den „Vogelhändler“ es war wunderbar. Schön langsam wird man hier in der Stadt bekannt. Aber auch ich kenne schon einige hier. Einmal war ich von einen Mädel bei ihrer Tante zum Tee geladen. Na das war erst ein [Theater.]
