Ja jetzt wird alles Eingezogen und Eingesetzt was noch kriechen kann ich sehe es ja hier bei uns. Aber auch viele trifft es diesmal die vom Krieg noch nichts gesehen haben und das ist richtig. - Was schreibt den Peterek vom „Kommiß“? Nun ist Hoffelner Karl auch schon gefallen die armen Jungs, was hatten sie alle vom Leben?!
Bei mir mein Muttl ist noch alles beim alten. Ich mache jetzt Ordonanz [ein Soldat, der einem Offizier persönlich beigestellt ist, siehe Offiziersbursche ] und Kurier zum Bataillon ist tadellos habe nicht allzuviel zu tun. Komme so oft in die Stadt habe um 10.00 h Uhr meinen Frühschoppen u. Nachmittag um 15.00 h gehe ich in die Konditorei da gibt es noch prima Kuchen. Du siehst also es ist zum Aushalten ich fühle mich tadelos dabei und bin gesund und munter.
Nun ist auch schon der Herbst ins Land gekommen es wird schon kühl und das Laub wird gelb. Doch da tröstet uns über die vergangene Sommerzeit das schöne reifende Obst. So muß man immer beim schlechten das Beste heraus suchen. Auch in der heutigen Zeit.
Mit den Fliegern ist es nun auch besser heute Nacht war seit langem wieder mal Alarm aber wie immer ohne „Einlagen“. Also mein Muttl keine Sorge es ist alles gut! Grüß mir bitte alle Bekannten.
