Am 8. 3. mußten wir wieder weg, fuhren nochmals nach Berlin blieben da einen Tag und dann gings weiter nach hier. In Berlin konnten wir noch am Kurfürstendamm in einen der besten Lokale essen. Auf der Rückfahrt schrieb ich im fahrenden Zug einen Brief an Dich, den wollt ein Soldat mit nach Wien nehmen, hoffentlich hat er dies auch getan?! Kaum hier angekommen hörten wir schon das Neuste - das ganze Bataillon d. h. die ganze Garnison Blankenburg - ist auf den Marsch in eine ca. 160 km weiter liegende Mitteldeutsche Stadt. Na wir waren fertig, kannst Dir doch vorstellen. Jetzt sollten wir doch wie Du weißt nach Potsdam abgestellt werden. Da wir nicht da waren wurden zwei andere los geschickt. Fast alles war schon weg nur einige Nachkommandos sind noch da. Wir gingen nun gleich zum Kommandeur, er wurde in dieser Zeit vom Major zum Oberstleutnant befördert, u. meldete uns. Dieser teilte uns nun zum Nachkommando ein, so bleiben wir wohl noch einige Zeit hier, wie lange ist unbestimmt ca. 3 Wochen. - Du siehst für was so eine Dienstreise gut sein kann. toi, toi, toi! Ich hab Dir auch gleich telegraphiert - Du kannst weiter nach hier schreiben aber Postlagernd d.h. meinen Namen dann Blankenburg/Harz u. darunter „Postlagernd“. Sollte ich weg kommen so wird mir die Post nachgeschickt. Von Dir habe ich leider auch noch keine Post erhalten. Die geht nun furchtbar schlecht.
