English: Field system at Old Pasture The upland limestone pastures between Grassington and Kettlewell must have been favoured as a settlement site by early man as there are numerous hut circles, field outlines and other features, most of which date back to the iron age. The humps and stones defining ancient enclosures can be seen here. |
