Description
English: Dragin M/B is a Faroese sail ship, a Galeas, which was built in Copenhagen in Denmark in 1945. Dragin has it home in Klaksvík in the Northern Islands in the Faroe Islands. The ship is now a school ship. This photo was taken at the harbour of Tvøroyri in Suðuroy, while most of the Faroese sail ships were sailing around the islands for four days, they called it "Føroya Regatta" and people could join them for a single trip between two islands or for the whole trip. They ended on 28 July at the Ólavsøka in Tórshavn, the national holiday.
Føroyskt: Drekahøvdið á føroyska seglskipinum og skúlaskipinum "Dragin KG212". Dragin er heimahoyrandi í Klaksvík. Skipið var bygt í Keypmannahavn í Danmark í 1945. Henda myndin varð tikin á Tvøroyri 26. juli 2010 um morgunin, beint áðrenn føroysku træseglskipini fóru víðari á teirra rundferð um oyggjarnar.
