Deutsch: Das Mittelbild zeigt Christus am Kreuz flankiert von zwei Heiligen und Sonne und Mond. Das Oberbild gliedert sich in eine 5-teilige Arkadenreihe, in jeder ein Heiliger in Halbfigur: Ganz linksder heilige Gallus, anschließend der Evangelist Marcus, in der Mitte S. Borromeus, daneben rechts S. Notkerus und ganz rechts S. Othmarius. In den zwei Feldern links und rechts vom Mittelbild befinden sich vier stehende Ganzfiguren von Heiligen. Es sind links oben die hl. Anna Selbdritt, rechts Maria Magdalena, darunter die hl. Barbara und im linken Feld die hl. Catharina. Die Sockelpartie wiederholt die Arkadenordnung des Oberbildes. In jeder Arkade ist ein Heiliger in Halbfigur dargestellt: Links aussen der S. Sebastianus, daneben S. Christophorus, in der Mitte S. Benedict, anschließend S. Leodigard und ganz rechts S. Bertino (?) (unleserlich). Die Scheibe ist in schlechtem Zustand, die Farbe stellenweise abgekratzt.
Français : L'image centrale montre le Christ en croix flanqué de deux saints et du soleil et de la lune. Le tableau supérieur est divisé en une rangée de cinq arcades, chacune avec un saint en demi-figure : à l'extrême gauche, saint Gall, puis l'évangéliste Marcus, au centre, saint Borromée, à droite, saint Notkerus et à l'extrême droite, saint Othmarius. Dans les deux champs à gauche et à droite du tableau central se trouvent quatre figures entières de saints debout. En haut à gauche, il s'agit de sainte Anne, à droite de Marie-Madeleine, en dessous de sainte Barbe et dans le champ de gauche de sainte Catherine. La partie du socle répète l'ordre des arcades du tableau supérieur. Dans chaque arcade, un saint est représenté en demi-figure : Saint Sébastien à l'extérieur à gauche, Saint Christophe à côté, Saint Benoît au centre, puis Saint Léodigard et tout à droite Saint Bertin ( ?) (illisible). La vitre est en mauvais état, la peinture est grattée par endroits.
English: The central picture shows Christ on the cross flanked by two saints and the sun and moon. The upper picture is divided into a row of 5 arcades, in each arcade a saint in half figure: on the far left St Gallus, then the Evangelist Marcus, in the middle S. Borromeus, next to him on the right S. Notkerus and on the far right S. Othmarius. In the two fields to the left and right of the central picture are four standing full-length figures of saints. They are St. Virgin and child with Ann, then Mary Magdalene on the right, St. Barbara below and St. Catharine in the left field. The base section repeats the arcade order of the upper picture. In each arcade a saint is depicted in half figure: S. Sebastian on the extreme left, next to him S. Christopher, in the centre S. Benedict, then S. Leodigard and on the far right S. Bertino (?) (illegible). The stained glass panel is in poor condition, the paint scratched off in places. |
