| Description |
Copula of firebugs; ♂: smaller, red/black; ♀: bigger, white/black (sexual dimorphism), found mating and feeding (predator) on a freshly burned part of the jungle to serve for growing sweet potatoes and beans. The female has been seen piercing little beetles (www.flickr.com/photos/gbohne/4966431000/), hence this firebug should be considered a predator and a potential agent for biological pest control!
