English: Photograph of woman breaking bottle against ship's hull In this photograph taken by Louis Lee in 1943, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt christens the escort aircraft carrier USS Alazon Bay at the Kaiser Shipyards, where it had been built under a Maritime Commission contract sponsored by the first lady. The USS Alazon Bay was later renamed the USS Casablanca, and operated in the South Pacific until the end of the war.
