Description
English: First Presbyterian Church of Newtown. Built of granite, the cornerstone set July 6, 1893. The church was dedicated May 5, 1895.; hand written on back of print: New Presbyterian Church granite built 1893 southside Queens Boulevard east of Grand Street. Elmhurst John Goldsmith Payntar who died 1891, left the money for the erection of the stone church. cornerstone - laid July 6, 1893 edifice dedicated May 5, 1895 Newtown 1922
