Summary[edit]

Description
English: Fisher's Fort and Governor's House Sea-Access From the shore at low tide, the Walls of Berwick at Fisher's Fort (where stands the Russian Gun, which has its own geograph in this gridsquare). The hole-in-the-Wall (now filled-in) was originally the direct access to the sea from the Governor's House, which fronts onto Palace Street East. (The two penguins, just discernable on a light-coloured stone at the centre of this image, are of a series of modern mystery-graffiti ... there are many of them around the town, most numerous on the pier - but no-one is owning-up!!)
