Summary[edit]

Description
English: A picture of the first phase of construction of a flat roof. The first layer is bitumen; the second will EPDM (used to keep the rainwater from being polluted so it can be safely captured in a rainwater harvesting system). Flat roofs are the most cost-efficient type of roofing: all of the area both below and on top of the roof itself can be utilized easily, unlike with pitched roofs. Thanks to today's high-quality materials, there is very little danger of leaks.
