Summary[edit]

Description
English: Every year, the Christmas Island community comes together to celebrate the founding of the workers union, which many years ago first provided basic rights to workers in the phosphate mine. This day is now celebrated with a variety of performances. This young girl finished stayed on-stage longer after performing a traditional Chinese dance and quickly ran off to her parents when she noticed all the attention on her.
