Summary[edit]

Description At the junction of Crutched Friars, Jewry and Rangoon Street in the City of London. The Crutched Friars themselves (Fratres Crucferi) were an order of Augustinian canons founded in Italy sometime in the early Middle Ages; they established a house in this part of London in 1249. They wore blue robes and carried a staff surmounted with a cross.
