| Description |
English: Flooding alongside the Beaulieu River, Fulliford Bog, New Forest The line of trees from left to right follow the usual course of the Beaulieu River. Following a few days of heavy showers the river has flooded onto the neighbouring boggy lawn. It is this process that keeps the lawn fertile, bringing nutrients from the woodland and heath upstream. |
