Description
Deutsch: Flussrenaturierung (Land restoration in Germany) in Marburg mit künstlichem Seitenarm der Lahn etwas flussabwärts der Brücke der Bahnhofstrasse; gefroren im Winter (2017-01-09). Der Lahn in Marburg wird hier durch diese etwas erweiterte Retentionsfläche bei Hochwasser etwas Raum gegeben, der Düseneffekt im engen Tal und dem bis ans Ufer bebauten Fluss etwas reduziert; die langgestreckte Flussinsel zur Lahn hin wird auch von Vögeln (und Hunden ...) genutzt. Der gemischte Rad- und Fussweg links im Foto wird nach heftigen Regenfällen manchmal überschwemmt, eine Rampe an der Bahnhofstrassenbrücke (beleuchtet hinten) bietet seit einigen Jahren Ausweichmöglichkeiten durch die Innenstadt.
