Français : "Fontaine de L’Escalade. Fontaine monumentale à quatre Jets projetée dès 1853 par le sculpteur munichois Johannes Leeb et réalisée eu 1856-57 avec bassin quadrilobé en granit et colonne centrale ornée de bas reliefs en bronze relatant des épisodes de l'Escalade de 1602- Mise en eau le 15 septembre 1857. L'ancienne fontaine du XVIII siècle fut remplacée après un concours lancé le 17 août 1832; le nouveau bassin se révéla rapidement défectueux. L'architecte Adrien Krieg dessina un nouveau projet en 1841. Le bassin de cette fontaine du Puits-Saint-Pierre. La fontaine de l'Escalade fut déplacée en 1951. Elle n'est pas classée."
