Description
Français : "Fontaine à quatre jets avec bassin octogonal en roche blanche et pilier central surmonté d’un chapiteau à motif végétal dont le goût néogothique est amplifié par des colonnettes qui le renforcent aux angles. Installée en 1864 par l'ingénieur de la Ville Jean-Marc Blanchot pour orné le centre de la nouvelle place Grenus, créée en 1858,elle fut entourée par cinq bornes protectrices ou bouteroues octogonales, encore conservées. La fontaine fut déplacée lors de la construction du garage souterrain en 1965 et restaurée en 1983." Sources : Livre "Les fontaines de Genève" de Armand Brulhart
