| Description |
English: Footbridge across the Nottingham Canal. This narrow footbridge carries the footpath in 1197220 across the canal on its way to Cossall which is over the hill in the next square north. There were several iron brackets set into the stone wall here, possible evidence that there used to be some sort of swing bridge here which could be moved or raised to let passing canal traffic through this narrow stone lined section. See 1197223 for the approach to the bridge. |
