| Description |
English: Footpath in Coddington This footpath, from by the village pond in Coddington, leads directly to the old rectory, which is the white house. On the far left is the old school, now the village hall, and the clump of trees in the middle of the field is recorded as a 'mound' on modern maps, and a 'Tumulus' on the 1882 O.S. map. On the right of the photo the old sandstone bridge carries the road to Aldersey over Coddington Brook. St Mary's Church is almost invisible behind the clump of trees. |
