English: Former Stop Gate on Willow Brook near Elton The Willow Brook flows all the way from Corby to join the River Nene at Elton. The remains of an old stop gate or sluice are visible here in which wooden boards were inserted to hold back the water flow, possibly associated with the nearby Elton watermill. |
