Description
Español: En la época colonial hasta el ataque de Morgan se dudaba mucho que alguien atacase a la ciudad. Hubo muchos proyectos de defensa para esta zona pero ninguno se realizó. Por esta razón, el pequeño fuerte de la Natividad era probablemente de las pocas construcciones militares que se encontraban en Panamá y que protegían la entrada de la ciudad por el puente del Matadero. Se dice que contaba con varios soldados e incluso cañones. Se sabe que esta edificación, al igual que el puente, mantiene muy poca estructura original..-.
