Description

A Passage grave (Blakshøj ved Gærum), with the number SB 70, in the parish Gærum in Frederikshavn municipality, Denmark. SB 70 (Stednavne: "Blakshøj"/ Gjødegaard), Gærum sogn, Frederikshavn Kommune.

  • Anlæg SB 70 (Blakshøj ved Gærum), rundhøj (Diam. 26 m & højde 4, 2 m) fra Tragtbægerkultur med et kammer (megalitgrav – jættestue – fra Tragtbægerkultur), har en længde 8 m, er 1, 75 m høj og 1-2, 5 m bred. Væggene er opbygget af 15 store sten, som bærer fem svære dæksten. Ved en undersøgelse i August 1882 blev Jættestuen helt udgravet, og i gravkammeret fandtes 3 flade meisler og en flintflække. Fra gangen bronzesværdet (B 1495), sek. udnyttelse af gravrum (ældre bronzealder per.3).
