Summary[edit]

Description
English: The “Four Bodhisattvas” in the Zōjō-ji temple complex in Minato City, Tokyo, consisting of statues of Kokuzō-bosatsu (Akashagarbha), Monju-bosatsu (Manjushri), Jizō-bosatsu (Ksitigarbha), and Fugen-bosatsu (Samantabhadra). Date unknown, traditionally attributed to Hōjō Tokiyori, circa 1258; also said to have been erected in the late 15th century, during the reign of Ashikaga Shigeuji.
