Description
English: Foz do Rio Maroni na fronteira entre o Suriname a Oeste e a Guiana Francesa a Leste. A Oeste do rio está a Reserva Natural de Galibi, estabelecida para preservar tartarugas marinhas que usam a areia de suas praias para desovar. A Leste fica a Praia de Hattes, também utilizada para nidificação por tartarugas marinhas, também protegida pela Reserva Natural de Amana / Maroni River Mouth, at Suriname, French Guiana border. Galibi Nature Reserve is located to the west of the river, established to preserve sea turtles that use its beaches sand for nesting. To the east is Hattes Beach, also used for nesting by marine turtles; protected by Amana Nature Reserve.
