Né a Uccle - Bruxelles (Belgique) le 10 octobre 1972. Etudes et diplômes Docteur en droit (Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis). Carrière Avocat (depuis 2000) Maire (depuis 2017) de Saint-Raphaël, Président (depuis 2020) d’Esterel Côte d’Azur Agglomération, Président (depuis 2018) du conseil de surveillance du Centre hospitalier intercommunal de Fréjus Saint-Raphaël (CHI), Vice-Président (depuis 2020) de l’Association des Maires du Var et Présidents d’Intercommunalité (AMF83), Co-Président de la commission « Prévention de la délinquance et sécurité » (depuis le 8 juin 2021) avec Nathalie Koenders 1ère adjointe de Dijon à l’Association des Maires de France (AMF), et secrétaire départemental « Les Républicains » dans le Var (depuis mars 2022). Frédéric Masquelier a été récompensé de la Marianne d’Or de la République en octobre 2022 pour sa politique de lutte contre la bureaucratie.
