Summary[edit]

Description
English: This statue (fragment) of Julia Domna was produced in Asia Minor and it I made of Dokimeion marble (Turkey). This portrait reveals a woman in the prime of life; her large forehead, high cheekbones and eyes reflect a willful intelligence. There are remains of color in the hair and in the eyes. It is now in the Musée d'art et d'histoire of Geneva (MAH).
