PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks. Last shot of this fabulous chateau.................. The Château d'Angers, dominates the old town. The castle was built between 1230 and 1240 by Louis IX of France. The massive walls are about one kilometer (.62mi) long and have 17 towers. During the 15th century, a chapel and the Châtelet were added in the courtyard. |
