The inner Catherine's Gate with the adjacent Houses of the kleiner Hirschgraben (Small Stag Moat), the Bleidenstraße (Bleiden Street) and the former St. Catherine's Chapel with the convent in place of the St. Catherine's Church built in 1678–80. Reconstructed from the elder editions of the city map by Merian. (s. Horne, Geschichte von Frankfurt, page 21 a. 92.) In the distance the Paradeplatz (Parade Ground), now Schillerplatz (Schiller Square) (yet without the guard-house) and the Eschenheimer Turm (Eschenheim Tower). (Property of the Neuville Family-Archive.)

Die innere Katharinenpforte mit den anliegenden Häusern des kleinen Hirschgrabens, der Bleidenstraße und der ehemaligen Katharinenkapelle mit Schwesternhaus, an Stelle der 1678–80 erbauten St. Katharinenkirche. Rekonstruiert nach den älteren Ausgaben des Merianschen Stadtplanes. (s. Horne, Geschichte von Frankfurt, Seite 21 u. 92.) In der Ferne der Paradeplatz, jetzt Schillerplatz (noch ohne Wachtgebäude) und der Eschenheimer Turm. (Im Besitz des Neuvilleschen Familien-Archivs.)
