Description
Čeština: František Ehleman (* 30. května 1894 – 20. února 1942 koncentrační tábor Osvětim) po absolvování obecné školy a dvou tříd měšťanské školy studoval na obchodní škole. Po studiích pracoval jako vrchní účetní městské spořitelny v Mnichově Hradišti, vykonával funkci člena městské rady a byl předsedou veslařsko–plaveckého klubu. V Československé obci sokolské (ČOS) působil jako dlouholetý pokladník Sokola Mnichovo Hradiště. V rámci Akce Sokol byl zatčen gestapem 8. října 1941 a vězněn v policejní věznici gestapa v Malé pevnosti Terezín, odkud byl deportován 15. ledna 1942 do koncentračního tábora Osvětim, kde zemřel.
English: František Ehleman (* 30 May 1894 - 20 February 1942 Auschwitz concentration camp) after graduating from a municipal school and two classes of a burgher school studied at a trade school. After his studies he worked as chief accountant of the municipal savings bank in Mnichovo Hradiště, served as a member of the town council and was chairman of the rowing and swimming club. He was a long-time treasurer of the Sokol Mnichovo Hradiště in the Czechoslovak Sokol Society (ČOS). He was arrested by the Gestapo as part of the Sokol Action on 8 October 1941 and imprisoned in the Gestapo police prison in the Small Fortress of Terezín, from where he was deported on 15 January 1942 to the Auschwitz concentration camp, where he died.
