English:
The cemetery of Bénye has a special feature compared to the traditional cemeteries of the surrounding settlements. Today's burial ground, the northern lowland new part of the cemetery, opened in the 1970s, is very similar in appearance to other cemeteries, the design and care of the graves and the grave marks are all according to today's customs. The abandoned parts of the Lutheran cemetery further south represent a different world. In the southern, terraced, hillside, so-called forested parts, there are also tombs with kopjafa, in the newer parts artificial stone, granite and marble monuments dominate. Notice: in the lower part, too, there are hardly any tombs older than the 1970s with legible inscriptions, while in the upper part there are tombs from the 90s and 21st centuries. The cemetery of Bénye is constantly changing its location (the locals do not bury in the place once occupied), it occupies more and more territory. The cemetery can be approached from two directions, the public area intended for pedestrian use is the 'rear entrance'. The lower, old part of the cemetery is also neglected, with dense wild vegetation. Notable are boxwood (Buxus sempervierens) of considerable size standing next to an old tomb and a horse chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum). - Temető Street, Bénye, Pest County, Hungary.

Bénye temetője különös, sajátos tulajdonsággal rendelkezik a környező települések hagyományos temetőihez képest. A mai temetkezési hely,-az 1970-es években nyitott temető északi síkvidéki része, nagyon hasonló, megegyező megjelenésű más temetőkkel, a sírok kialakítása, gondozása a sírjelek is mind a mai szokásoknak megfelelőek. Az ettől délebbre eső evangélikus temetőrész elhagyott, felhagyott részei egy más világot képviselnek. A déli, teraszos, domboldali ún. beerdősült részeken kopjafás síremlékek is találhatók a újabb részeken a műkő és a márvány emlék dominál. Megj. Az alsó részen is alig találhatók 70-es évekbelinél régebbi olvasható feliratú síremlékek, a felső részre a 90-es évekbeli ill. 21.századi síremlékek találhatók. A bényei temető folyamatosan változtatja helyét (a helybéliek nem temetkeznek az egykor foglalt helyre) újabb és újabb területet foglal el. A temetőt két irányból lehet megközelíteni, a gyalogos használatra szánt köz a 'hátsó feljárat'. A temető alsó, régi része szintén elhanyagolt, sűrű elvadult a növényzete. Említésre méltó egy régi síremlék mellett álló tekintélyes méretű puszpángok (Buxus sempervierens), és egy vadgesztenye fa (Aesculus hippocastanum). A temető kerítés nélküli, habár kapuja az van.
