Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Further Signs of Decline - Converted School and Chapel During the later quarter of the nineteenth and the first half of the twentieth century the upper part of Cwmystradllyn had a sufficient population to warrant the existence of a Calvinistic Methodist chapel and enough children of school age for the school board to erect an 'ysgoldy'- a school room. Both have now been converted into dwellings. Any children of primary age in the area now attend school at Garndolbenmaen SH4944. See also 272177 |
