Description
Gabriel Godfroy (Waapanaakikaapwa), a leader of the Miami (Myaamia) people near Peru, Indiana, seated to the lower right with two unidentified men from Knox County, Indiana. He was the youngest son of Francis Godfroy (Palaanswa), who was a War Chief of the Miami and worked closely with the principal chief of the Miami, Jean Baptiste Richardville.
