Summary[edit]

Description
English: The rain almost stopped and the sun shone weakly as Galatea pulled the Welsh Borders excursion through the station at Chirk. Still not got a photo of steam over Chirk Viaduct - I thought the strong wind would blow the steam down and across the train so the more sheltered station gave a close up view (and the steam behaved!).
