| Description |
English: Gazebo on top of old pit shafts. This perky little gazebo-style edifice protecting two benches is on reclaimed land where the old Birch Coppice Colliery stood. There are two pillars next to the gazebo commemorating the capping of two shafts in Sept 1987. See 727590 & 727594. Also see 727582.
There is a lot of new construction going on here, mostly of warehouses and distribution units by the looks of it. |
