Description
Deutsch: Das „Zelt” wurde im ehemaligen Frauenkonzentrationslager Ravensbrück wohl Mitte August 1944 errichtet, als das Lager aufgrund der vielen eintreffenden Transporte hoffnungslos überfüllt war. In ihm wurden

zeitweise bis zu 4000 Frauen und Kinder untergebracht: deportierte Jüdinnen aus Auschwitz und dem aufständigen Warschau sowie direkt aus Ungarn deportierte Jüdinnen und Romnja.

Die Lagergemeinschaft Ravensbrück/Freundeskreis e.V. hat dieses Gedenkzeichen im Jahr 2005 in die Gedenkstätte eingebracht.
