Deutsch: Beschreibung aus Karl Woermanns Galeriekatalog 1887: Ninus tritt der Semiramis seine Krone ab. Unter violettem Zelte, in dem links ein Tisch mit roter Decke steht, sitzt rechts der König in feuerrotem Rocke und blauem Mantel, das Scepter in der Linken. Links neben ihm sitzt die Königin in gelbem Kleide mit grünen Aermeln. Die erhobenen rechten Hände beider fügen sich in einander. Mit der Linken setzt Semiramis sich die Krone ihres Gemahls auf’s Haupt.
