Description
English: Ben Tranh District, South Vietnam. June 1970. Chief Australian adviser in the Delta region, Major John Browne of Macquarie, ACT (right rear), accompanied a group of high ranking Americans who inspected the work of the Night Operations Advisory Team (NOAT), with Regional Force Company 203. The NOAT is a team of Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) advisers who have taken on a pilot scheme to retrain Regional Forces in night ambush against Viet Cong. Seated in the centre is General W. B. Rosson, the Deputy Commander of the United States Military Assistance Command, Vietnam, studying diagrams of the Company's camp.
