George Gaston Nickel, 2nd Lt, King's Liverpool Regiment killed in action in Flanders near Ypres 31st July 1917 aged 34. He was the grandson of George Cartmel. This tablet is in St Michael and all Angels church, Beetham, Westmorland, Cumbria
