Description
Deutsch: Jüdischer Friedhof in Georgensgmünd, Stiftertafel aus dem Jahr 1723. Text: "Die wohlhabenden Brüder, geehrter Herr Rabbiner Joseph Jossele und sein Bruder, geehrter Herr Rabbiner Moshe - sie sollen beide gesund sein - beide Söhne des Herrn Abraham Shemuel von Schwabach, haben freigebig von ihrem Vermögen gegeben zu errichten dieses Gebäude zu Ehren des allmächtigen Gottes, er soll gesegnet sein, und zu Ehren der Menschheit.

Der geehrte Herr Rabbiner Joseph hat diese Grube graben lassen, in welcher Wasser enthalten ist. Er hat alle Ausgaben aus seiner Tasche bezahlt. Das Haus, welches der geehrte Herr Rabbiner Moshe und seine Frau Serle - sie soll lange leben - bauen haben lassen mit all den Räumen im oberen Stockwerk - für Männer und Frauen besonders abgeteilt - und das Tahara-Haus im unteren Stockwerk, zusammen mit ... für alle ... im Haus, ist alles aus deren eigenem Vermögen bezahlt worden. Möge es niedergeschrieben werden auf diesen Stein, dass dieses Gebäude bestehen soll für Generationen nach ihnen. Und als Belohnung für all dieses, sollen sie alle haben ein langes Leben, sie und ihre Frauen und Kinder und Kindes-Kinder in Freude und Zufriedenheit. Amen - Selah".
