Description
Centsprent met 6 x 4 omkaderde houtsneden over het huishouden van Jan en Griet, hier voorgesteld als apen. Na het trouwen trekt Griet de broek aan en moet Jan het huishouden doen: hij stookt het vuur, doet de afwas, spuit de ruiten schoon, veegt, bakt en wast. Een boer brengt Jan een kind en hij verzorgt het. Als het huilt geeft Griet Jan slaag. Bij het plaatje waar Jan zijn kind laat poepen staat: 'Kinderen! Wilt daar eens raaijen, wat de kleine neêr zal draaijen.' Bevat tweeregelige rijmende onderschriften in Nederlands en Frans.
