| Description |
English: Gill Beck Foot Gill Beck flows into the River Greta in Hardy Wife Wood. Seen here looking up the Greta, the level is low as we approach summer. The Greta needs a great deal of rain to be paddleable, at which time it becomes a very fine and sustained grade 3 river, but the level falls as quickly as it rises and is only in condition for a short time. |
