Description
English: Gion Higashi maiko Hinayū in Seirai-in Temple. Hinayu's hairstyle is called "sakkō" and includes several tortoiseshell accessories, visible at the right side of her hairstyle. Sakkō is the last hairstyle worn by maiko before they become a geiko (geisha). Her obi (sash) is styled into "darari": a knot with a long dangling part. The back of her neck with three lines of bare skin is visible. Hinayū works for Okatome okiya.
