Description
Deutsch: Glasscheibe mit Szene aus dem Leben des Miltiades, mit Büste von Rombout Hogerbeets, 1627. Publiziert in: 
   Jonker, Cornelis de: Zinneprent ter ere van Rombout Hogerbeets, 1791.

Miltiades ist im Gefängnis nach Jahren treuer Dienst. An den Seiten befinden sich Pallas und Merkur. Unter der zentralen Szene steht ein sechszeiliges Gedicht:

Das Fenster war Teil einer Reihe von drei allegorischen Glasfenstern zum Gedenken an Gefangenschaft, Flucht und Exil von Hugo Grotius 1619-1622. Das Fenster wurde Im Jahr 1627 für das Haus von Abraham Daatselaar, eines Kaufmanns (Gorcum/Gorinchem), angefertigt, der Grotius zu entkommen half.
