| Description |
English: Glen Roy A wet day in Glen Roy. This is a good vantage point for beach spotting, with the grassy strips of terracing visible on the slopes of Lèana Mhòr, either side of the Allt Boheskey. These are the parallel roads, caused by beaches on the shores of an ice dammed lake in glacial times. They are real life contour lines, each one corresponding to a col in Glen Roy where the lake would have emptied. At different times, the water left by different routes at different levels. |
