| Description |
English: Southward from Glenbrittle over to Rum. In between is the Rudh' an Dunnain promontory and in the distance is the mountainous island of Rum, 15-20 miles away, the peak of Askivall (2,659 ft.) being the highest. (The Bartholomew map dated 1945 marks this site at Glenbrittle as an 'Aeroplane Landing Ground'). At least the corn has been cut, but the sheeted heaps of straw may have to wait a while. |
