English: Gobowen Station with departing Class 175. This ex-GWR station, built in the Italiante style complete with campanile, is still a delight. Fully semaphore signalled to control and protect the level crossing, it retains a gWR signal box and is syill, just, the junction for the Cambrian mainline through Oswestry (now chopped up into several sections throughout the town unfortunately. |
