| Description |
English: The Terara Hotel in Gondar, Ethiopia sits on something of forested hill just northeast of the Royal Enclosure which is home to Fasiladas' Palace. The Enclosure is off camera to the left as this view is from the hotel grounds looking mostly west and slightly south at 3 pm local time on one of the days of the Timkat festival, which is the Ethiopian church's celebration of Epiphany. Note that as the priests continue along the red carpet, it is rolled up behind them and carried to the front of the procession. |
